Our workshop has one of the best CNC departments in the local area and April 2022 saw us partner up with the Bradford laser group making us truly the one stop shop for all engineering requirements, our 24000 sq ft premises now houses our CNC precision engineering Division alongside the Laser cutting and Fabrication Divisions making us truly the one stop shop for all your engineering needs.

Our skilled workforce is fully equipped to handle the most technical of jobs, from the one off urgent breakdown to the day to day bread and butter work. we have full facilities to machine the most technical of parts all under one roof, whether one off or batch quantities. Our motto is if we can't do it we won't take it on.
Our workshop is one of the best equipped CNC Turning departments with our latest machine the Hwacheon AYC 450. This machine is state of the art and capable of a fast production of large numbers of components/ specialist one off parts. Having live driven tooling gives us the ability to CNC turn a part and mill, drill and tap as required, to finish the part at one hit, thus saving production time and money.
We also have the latest Doosan DNM 650 Vertical Machining Centre which has axis travel X/Y/Z of 1270mm x 670mm x 620mm Additionally, using our Nikken CNC260 rotary table we have continuous A axis capabilities. Using our up to date computer aided manufacturing (CAM) system we can directly import customer solid models or 2D drawings and then apply the latest trochoidal milling strategies to components to deliver excellent cutting performance and high process reliability all accurately set up with our Renishaw probe. All of the above investment ensures that Cannon Engineering stays at the forefront of cutting edge technology.
All our parts are CAD CAM designed and modelled and are high speed machined with the latest state of the art software giving us the facility to design and machine any component from start to finish.
We also boast a comprehensive conventional machine shop capable of turning, slotting, splining, gear cutting, welding and fabrication. Basically we can do anything from a one off repair to batch quantities to DRG or sample and even assist in any design projects that you may have.
