Cannon Engineering was formed by the present md chris hannam to provide a service that was found to be lacking in the industry, the aim to be efficient, cost effective , deliver on time with a turnaround service second to none, with Chris having over 24 years experience in this field it was decided he would go it alone to provide that all-round service and seek the personal satisfaction required.

Chris an accomplished motorcycle drag racer had for years designed and manufactured specialist race parts not only for himself but for fellow racers at a price that could be afforded, even today the legendary 3 speed transmission that was developed and perfected is still made and is running in championship winning motorcycles.

It was this kind of success and the ability to deal with all types problems in the engineering field that Cannon Engineering have relocated to leeds to there brand new state of the art purpose built unit and with all the latest technology on tap their skilled workforce are fully equipped to handle the most technical of jobs right down to the one off urgent breakdown to the day to day bread and butter work and have facilities to machine the most technical of parts whether one of or batch quantity and all under one roof, our motto if we cant do it then we wont take it on.

Our work shop boasts one of the best well equipped in the market place, we have 2, 3 and 4 axis cnc mills, and 2 cnc lathes all of which are under one year old. We also boast a well equiped conventional m/c shop with turning, milling, grinding, boring, slotting, splinning, gearcutting (spurs, helical, worms&wheels, bevels ) to list but a few.
